ACOM Chiropractic Consulting Occupies New Offices to Accommodate Growth

 

 

Mt. VERNON, Ohio, April 6, 2009 – The ACOM Healthcare Chiropractic Consulting Group has occupied new offices at 314 S. Main Street, Suite 101, in Mt Vernon, Ohio, expanding accommodations for existing staff as well as providing facilities for in-house consulting services and for additional personnel, it was announced today by Chief Consultant Bharon Hoag.

 

Hoag, who both directs the group’s activities and is its lead consultant, noted that as an operating entity within the Healthcare Business Division, the unit has grown quickly from a solo practice to one that now offers the services of multiple consultants, including Doctors of Chiropractic as well as Certified Professional Coders.

 

"The consulting practice has continued to expand as doctors increasingly react to economic pressures leading to lower patient volume as well as those coming from third party payers and from Federal and state regulators," he said. "Our current consulting staff is continuously engaged in helping them cope with these factors and we foresee near-term further expansion. Our new, expanded facilities equip us for whatever the future holds, whether it is additional personnel or expanded centralized services such as in-house seminars."

 

While the division’s Chiropractic Software Group recently consolidated its operations in ACOM's Atlanta-area regional headquarters, maintaining the Consulting Group’s offices in Mt. Vernon provides the group’s consultants in a more geographically centralized point from which to serve its growing clientele, pointed out Senior Vice President Mark Firmin, general manager of the Healthcare Business Division.

 

"Effective consulting should be highly personalized and the services we offer are unique in the profession, in that we place heavy emphasis on the importance of on-site practice analysis," he said. "It is important that we be able to respond quickly to doctors’ needs, whether in the initial on-site visit, in-person follow-up or by telephone."
