Medical Billing Services Manager

Company Information:

ACOM Health is a division of ACOM Solutions Inc., a developer and distributor of software products for mid-market to Fortune 500 businesses with over four thousand customers throughout North America, South America and Europe.

The ACOM Health Division provides both an integrated Practice Management and certified Electronic Health Records (EHR) software suite and a Revenue Cycle Management service (Billing Service)  as an alternative to the Chiropractic market throughout the United States. With over 1,000 Chiropractic practices using our products and services we have established ourselves as the pre-eminent provider of billing and documentation software and services to this market.  We have experienced rapid growth the past four years with expectations to grow more than 30% this year and into the near future.

 

Job Description:

This position reports to the Senior Vice President and General Manager of ACOM Health and has complete responsibility for the day to day operations of our Billing Services operation. This operation provides Revenue Cycle Management to Chiropractic practices nationwide. The operation currently services approximately 40 chiropractic practices, with the expectation for growth to 500+ practices within the next five years. This is a ground floor opportunity for an individual who has a proven track record in medical billing management and enjoys the challenges and rewards of working in a rapid growth, fast paced environment.

 

Job Duties:

Responsible for all facets of the business operations including but not limited to:

  • Establishing and managing budgets
  • Hiring and training of personnel and effectively plan staffing levels
  • Personnel reviews, wage guidelines and merit increases
  • Organizing operational and administrative workflow,
  • Establishing goals and objectives,
  • Establishing policies, procedures and standards,
  • Developing, measuring and monitoring performance metrics,
  • Establishing, measuring and monitoring quality control procedures and standards
  • Train, support and provide guidance to the sales team on qualifying prospective customers, selling our value proposition and setting customer expectations.
  • Account/customer management
  • Onboarding and training customers on our software suite, systems and services.
  • Inbound and pro-active outbound communication to clients

 

Primary Objectives:

  • Turnaround the current operation from mediocre to elite status.
  • Develop an effective, scalable customer on-boarding program.
  • Provide a measurable, high quality level of service and support to the customer base.
  • Develop pro-active customer outreach communication programs that include; customer mentoring, enable customer feedback and improvement suggestions, measures customer satisfaction levels.
  • Develop a large, happy customer referral base. Big part of our future business should come from customer referrals.
  • Position the operation to effectively absorb 10-15 new practices per month.
  • Ongoing improvement in operating efficiencies that produces high profit margins.
  • Provide input and suggestions on product and service enhancements.

 

Job Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years successful management of a medium to large medical billing service operation preferably with Chiropractic clientele.
  • In depth knowledge and experience working with Practice Management and EHR/EMR systems.
  • Experience with managing a staff of 50+ personnel.
  • Experience working in a fast growth environment a plus.
  • Broad knowledge and experience in the Chiropractic field.
  • Prefer a deep understanding of Chiropractic practice workflow and billing needs
  • Must be able to foster, promote and work in a team oriented environment.
  • Above average communication skills (oral and written) up and down the organization.
  • Above average skills with MS office suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize and integrate technology into operation and administration workflows for continual efficiency improvement.
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA requirements, rules and regulations a plus
  • Ability to create and present reports that adequately reflect operating performance.
  • Willingness to do whatever it takes to meet commitments and get the job done.
  • Must possess a “can do/will do” attitude.
  • Must be able to enjoy their job, working with their associates and have fun.

Sales Representative Position

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Healthcare Software Sales Representative to join our leading Chiropractic centric division offering Electronic Health Records and Practice Management software and outsourcing Billing Services. Candidate must have a proven track record selling Software to small and mid-size medical practices with 2-5 doctors.

KEY HIGHLIGHTS:

THE POSITION – Inside sales focused on the Chiropractic marketplace selling a suite of software and services that includes EHR software, Practice Management software and Billing & Collection services.

THE MARKET – Very exciting market that is fueled by a Government funded EHR Incentive program to pay Chiropractors up to $44,000 to use a Certified EHR software.

THE LOCATION - Either Duluth, GA 30096 or Long Beach, CA 90806 ACOM Health locations. Possibility of working from remote home office. Travel required for trade shows (1 to 2 trips/month)
